Alan McMillan, Managing Director
Alan has been a CEO or founder of several technology companies and he continues to find a thrill in being involved in growth stage opportunities. He has built a product business from the beginning and grew it to $200M in revenue over four years in the Asia Pacific region. In the early years of the web he co-founded Pacific Connections, which was acquired by China.com, (CHINA:NASDAQ). He also co-founded one of the world’s first ASP (SaaS) companies, and was the CEO of Think Dynamics, which was acquired by IBM. Think Dynamics won “Investment of The Year” from the CVCA.  He spends his time in Shanghai and Toronto.

Xiao Hong is our wonderfully trilingual China business development expert. She has a BCOMM, with major in hotel management from Shu Ren University in Hangzhou, China. After having worked at three hotels in China, she went to Silicon Valley during the boom and worked with a startup company. She now lives in Toronto where she is helping Omazo bridge the gap between North America and China for our clean technology/commercial property focus.

Lu Shan Yang is based in Hangzhou, China and possesses a bachelor of engineering degree. He has worked as an engineer in several sectors over the past 30 years. Having been a technical service section chief at both an industrial process automation and instrumentation factory, he moved on to being a project manager at the fire control branch of a public security corporation. More recently, Mr Yang has held management positions in engineering departments for high end hotels in Hangzhou, overseeing preparation and construction. Mr Yang has received an award for hotel energy savings in 2006.

Jason Yao is our Channel Sales Manager responsible for developing new commercial business customers and channels. After he graduated with a civil engineering degree at Wuhan University, he joined Beijing Pentair Water Company, where he helped establish their presence in China. Jason is based in Shanghai for Jie Technologies.

Merry Wang is our Director of Operations, she calls Beijing home, and graduated in 1992 from Beijing Normal University with a Bachelor of Education in Psychology. She has over 18 years of work experience in multi-national and local companies at the management level, including Finance, Human Resources Management, Office Administration, Business Operations, Customer Service, Logistics and Sales. She is based in our Shanghai office

Richard Zhao serves as product manager for Jie-Tech. He holds both a Bachelors and Masters of Applied Science in Electronic Information Engineering from the University of Regina. Before joining Jie-Tech, Mr Zhao worked as a customer support engineer with a leading design and manufacturer of semiconductor assembly equipment in Shanghai.
